Remote Telemetry Monitoring
Barsbank offer bespoke software for you to monitor your remote PC's, servers, and computerised machinery. This is known as remote telemetry monitoring.
Barsbank write the bespoke software (a Windows Service) that is installed on your remote PC's and also the web based reporting and monitoring system.
The bespoke Windows Service will gather the data you require from your remote PC, server or computerised machinery and send it back to a database on one of our web servers. The remote monitoring and reporting system can be viewed from anywhere, via a secure login, over the Internet.
Examples of some of the data we collect for exsisting clients are:-
- Is the PC working – If no response from the PC, then an alert can be created
- Disk space – how much space is left on all of the drives on the PC
- RAID malfunctions – if RAID is reporting issues, they are recorded and sent to the database
- Images – gif/jpg/png etc images can be sent back to the database.
- Data written to file – any data that exists in a file can be retrieved from the file and sent back to the database.
A great benefit of the remote telemetry monitoring system is the ability to monitor multiple networks with one system, rather than having to login to each network individually.
Our remote telemetry systems use Internet connections, GPRS and 3G technology to communicate between the remote machine and the web based reporting system.
